Almost fifty Marist Brothers, coming from all the provinces, have been able to meet in Rome, Italy. From yesterday, December 6, until December 11, they will be sharing activities, meetings and reflections with the aim of trying to animate the life of the brothers, since often, in the day to day, they are put in the background by other structures of animation such as work meetings and online meetings, among other things.
But also, to share and enjoy the way in which we understand and form part of Marist Europe.
It should be noted that this meeting is taking place at the Marist General House in Rome, and that it is the second option after having discarded Lebanon, due to the situation in the country. Moreover, the Coordination Team has been working on this meeting since 2019.
That is why the brothers convey that “now it is time to enjoy, share and listen to each other for a long time”.
Among all the activities planned for the occasion, the Mass of the Immaculate Conception with the community of the General House scheduled for tomorrow, or the visit to the Archives of Marist Historical and Spiritual Patrimony at the General House, or the visit to the Archives of Marist Historical and Spiritual Patrimony at the General House.

In this line, they add that “the brothers feel called to live the charism of St. Marcellin Champagnat aiming at a common goal: ‘to look beyond’. That is: ‘to look beyond’, from our local and/or provincial realities to what is beyond”.
From Rome, the participants also send “a warm greeting to those who could not come for reasons of health, family, etc.”. Hoping to meet all of them soon, building and making the family of Mary from within.
