Christmas is a time of illusion, of joy, of living together, of family, of giving oneself to others. And this is how we live it at Marists, being close to those we love and listening to them in their good and bad times.
Christmas is a time of opportunities and of hope. The whole Marist community celebrates the birth of Jesus and we celebrate that God is present among us, that he is born again. We celebrate Christmas by focusing on what is essential, awakening our capacity to act with generosity and solidarity. And, like the first brothers and sisters at the table of La Valla, we gather with our own in a family atmosphere to give thanks and celebrate the birth of God.
Christmas is a time of hope. Because where God is born, hope is reborn.
From the MRE (Marist Region of Europe), we wish you all a very… Merry Christmas!
