One of the fundamental aspects of Marist formation is living together. Meeting, sharing interests and being able to work together helps us to be better professionals, because we know that in order to educate we must love. In this line, the Marist orientation function course stands out for the enthusiasm of the participants who point to sharing as an incentive to grow.
From Monday 13 to today, students, speakers and organizers have coincided in Module II of the formation course ‘Orientation function and attention to diversity’ which has taken place in El Escorial. Up to twenty people from the Marist provinces of Compostela, Ibérica and Mediterránea were able to share in the classroom exercises and challenges to improve these aspects.
Above all, working in teams and experiencing dynamic ways of learning and growth. But also working hand in hand with colleagues and speakers.
Inés, from Champagnant school in Salamanca, province of Compostela, says that this second week “we face it with more enthusiasm because we already know all the colleagues, Patxi, we know how the organization and structure is and although we don’t know the topics exactly, we are more confident. But above all, it is taken with more enthusiasm because there is the desire to meet again with the colleagues”.
During these days it has been possible to work on the theme of the course from the personal to the group, with exercises and joint expositions that stand out for their originality in techniques and materials for learning and growth.
If there is one thing that the course participants agree on, it is the joy of advancing together to improve everything they have learned in their provinces of origin.
