Among all the formations that are prepared throughout the year in Marists, we agree on the importance of sharing and learning together. We recently concluded with a third week of formation in Xaudaró (Madrid), where the 21 participants from the provinces of Compostela, Ibérica and Mediterránea worked on practical themes proper to leadership positions.
Today we have the testimony of Iratxe Orokieta and Fernando Fuentes Guzmán, who tell us what the experience has been like for them. A more personal approach that completes what it means to be trained in management function.
More specifically, in this course we have been able to:
1. Deepen the experience and the Marist identity.
2. Acquire useful keys to know and understand the global reality of the Marist mission.
3. Obtain leadership tools and skills for accompanying and energizing teams and individuals.
4. To develop the capacity to lead processes of management, change and innovation.
In addition to dedicating each day to a block or theme, we had our first round table in which we were able to learn about the experiences of three former Marist directors. We also had a visit to social works of the Province of Ibérica and, in the midst of all the work and labor, we also dedicated part of the time to socializing and leisure with a visit to the town of Chinchón.
The subsequent evaluation of the course indicates that the objectives were achieved, and that it was highly profitable for the participants, who enjoyed the experience and the knowledge of the various speakers who accompanied us.
