When I was told at my school that I should go, it was several months in advance and from that moment on. I had mixed feelings, on the one hand, I didn't want to leave my family, my house, but I also wanted to go and learn about new experiences and learn from others.
I arrived on Sunday night together with a classmate from the school in Algemesí, Valencia. There were already the rest of the classmates who were going to take the course, there were 21 of us. We had a great welcome by the Brothers, by Br. Andreu and by Angel, who were our guides in those days. We made the presentations, and in a few hours we all knew each other, a great team, great teammates. They made us feel at home.
We had some excellent trainers, I think we could all learn a little from everything they wanted to convey to us: communication, social skills, our identity as people.
On Wednesday afternoon, guided by Angel, we went for a walk in Madrid, visited historical sites, went to the theater and had dinner. A wonderful afternoon.
I can only tell you: THANK YOU! Thank you for your simplicity, for your solidarity and for this wonderful experience.
